These hounds are 14-18 inches (35-45cm.) high and weigh about 20 pounds (9kg) and the bitches are naturally smaller than the males. There are three varieties of the breed: the shorthaired, the wired-haired, and the longhaired. With each of these varieties there are three sizes.
